Syncing to Pipedrive Deals
Mixmax will automatically sync activity to deals where the individual you are emailing is set as the primary person related to the deal. Mixmax will not sync to deals where the individual is considered a participant. Activity will still be synced to the person and organization even if they are not the person related to the deal.
One quick way to check if the person is associated with the deal is to check your sidebar in Gmail. If a deal shows up there when you look up that individual’s email address, then Mixmax will be able to sync to that deal.
There may be instances where the individual you are emailing is related to multiple deals. Mixmax will only sync to one deal the person is related to and defaults to the most recent deal the person has been associated with. This should correspond with the first listed deal in the sidebar and in the Pipedrive record for the person.
For this person, any emails we send and sync to pipedrive will get logged as activities related to the deal titled “Mixmax deal”. They will not show as activities under the deal titled “Mixmax - sales”.
Because Pipedrive only allows one person to be associated with a deal, you may need to change the person related to the deal to ensure activity syncs directly to the deal. Luckily it’s easy to switch the person related to the deal.
First open up the deal in Pipedrive and locate the people section along the left side. Click the little settings icon in the corner of the People section and choose the option to switch to another person. Choose the new person you’d like and all future activity for that person will automatically sync to the deal.
