Sequence Analytics

We display sequence email performance metrics in various parts of the product. The definitions below are applicable to Sequence email performance only.

These metrics may be used to indicate overall sequence performance, as well as the performance of stages within an individual sequence, and will be scoped according to the context they are used in.

Sequence Email Metrics

Sequence email metrics consider all emails sent from every stage in the sequence. Keep in mind that email deliveries will generally be higher than the number of recipients that went through a sequence since a recipient will typically receive more than one email in a sequence.

Sent Number of emails sent
Delivered Number of emails delivered
Opened Number of emails that were opened. If any email is opened multiple times by a recipient, it is only counted as ‘1’ opened.
Clicked Number of emails that were clicked. If a recipient clicks on an email multiple times, it is only counted as ‘1’ clicked.
Replied Number of emails that received a reply
Bounced Number of bounced emails
Open % Opened / Delivered
Reply % Replied / Delivered
Click % Clicked / Delivered
Download % Number of emails from which an attachment was downloaded / Delivered
Bounce % Bounced / Sent
Meeting % Number of emails that had a meeting booked / Delivered

Task Performance

You can view your Task metrics for each sequence. See each metric and description below: 

Metric Definition
Total  Number of tasks created (Due + Complete)
Complete Number of tasks completed
Due Number of tasks NOT completed 

Recipient Statuses

You can view your recipients current status within your sequences. See each status and description below: 
Metric Definition
Queued  Number of recipients who have been added to the sequence and are scheduled to start at a later date.
Active Number of recipients that are in the sequence.
Paused Number of recipients that are paused in the sequence. Learn more here.
Exited Number of recipients that have been removed from the sequence. Learn more here.

Insights Tab

The Insights Tab allows you a closer look at the performance of your sequence and recipients.

With the Insights Tab, you will have the ability to filter the data for all recipients or my recipients. 

The insights tab also allows users to see data for all stages in the sequence or it allows user's to see data per sequence stage. 

You can review your email performance to see the data for recipients who have interacted with your sequence overall or the individual stages.   


The Tasks section displays the total number of Tasks, Tasks that are due, and the Tasks that have been completed in the sequence overall or per stage. 

FAQs

What is the difference between sent and delivered?

Sometimes emails do not successfully make it to a recipient's inbox and are considered a bounced email. Sent is the total number of emails you tried to send. Delivered is the total number of emails that successfully made it without a bounce. Bounced emails can be calculated by subtracting delivered emails from sent emails.

What happens if the same recipient opens, clicks, replies, downloads, or books a meeting from the same email multiple times?

We will only count them one time in our total number of emails. For example, let’s say Ryan opens the same email 4 different times, we will count it as one open. If you want to see how engaged an individual is with your sequence email, you can do so by visiting the live feed and searching for the individual email address.
