Salesforce Variables
The list of Salesforce variables you could use is extensive, as any synced Salesforce fields can be used as variables in Mixmax.
Please be advised, adding or removing fields from the list does not add or remove them from the variable pickers in sequences, templates, and rules. The available fields in the variable picker are pulled from the sync user's profile. Any fields that the sync user has access to in Salesforce, will be visible in the variable picker.
Advanced Variables
Advanced variables are really simple and allow you to send high quality, personalized emails to your entire contact list even if you don't have the same amount of data for each recipient. See more on how to use them here.
Fallback Variables
Fallback variables ensures that even if you don't have data for a specific contact, your variable will be filled. To create a fallback variable insert the pipe character | followed by your fallback text before the closing brackets. For example, you can use {{Company | your office}} to send the Company name if you have data for that field, or "your office" if you don't.
