Importing a Contact Group from a CSV file

This article describes how you can import a group of Contacts using a CSV file.

Updated over a week ago

Please note that this version of Mixmax Contacts will soon be deprecated because we are building a new Contacts page in Mixmax.

At the moment, you can still switch between the current and new versions of the Contacts page. Please note that once the transition to the new Contacts page is complete, your existing Contact Groups will also be deprecated. You can use the Download as CSV option to save your Contacts Groups data outside of Mixmax. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.

Want to create a new contact group from a CSV file? Follow these instructions to import your contacts into a group in Mixmax.

From your Mixmax Live Feed, navigate to the Contacts page:

Contacts page

Click on the New Contact Group button to create a new group.

Creating a new Contact

Click Upload CSV.

Uploading CSV

Don't forget to name the contact group by clicking on the pencil icon, and voila! You now have a new Contact Group in Mixmax.

Please note you can also import a contact list directly from Salesforce with our Salesforce Integration if you are on the Mixmax Growth and Enterprise plans.

The limit to importing contacts is up to 300 contacts per CSV file.
