When you create a Mixmax cloud-hosted attachment, a link to the file is created. By default, anyone with the link can view the file, and the link will never expire. You can change the default settings for this in your Mixmax Shared Files settings.

In addition to controlling who can see a shared link, you can also control the length of time it can be viewed. When a file expires, it will no longer be downloadable.
