Why didn't my Mixmax meeting sync to the Salesforce calendar?

This article provides troubleshooting tips to help you when your Mixmax meetings don't sync to Salesforce.

Updated over 8 months ago

Salesforce integration is available on the Mixmax Growth + CRM plan and above. Check out our pricing page for more information.

If your Mixmax meeting doesn't sync to the Salesforce calendar, try these steps:

1. Make sure the Meetings setting is enabled

You can find this setting in the Salesforce sync settings on the CRMs and Live Feed settings page or under Admin > Roles > Salesforce.

Meetings setting enabled

2. Check the calendar that your event is booked on

For Gmail users, Mixmax only syncs events booked on your primary calendar in the Google Calendar. This is the calendar associated with the Google account used to sign in to Mixmax.

For Outlook users, if the meeting was scheduled via Mixmax, it will be synced to Salesforce. If the meeting was scheduled directly in Outlook Calendar, it will not be synced to Salesforce.

If an event is canceled/deleted in Outlook Calendar, it will not be removed from Salesforce.

3. How long ago was this event booked or updated?

Changes in the Google Calendar will be reflected in Salesforce up to 40 minutes after they occur.

4. Make sure an existing Contact or Lead is included as a guest

Mixmax only syncs to the Salesforce calendar if the recipient has an existing Contact or Lead record associated with their email address.
