Templates are available on all Mixmax plans, including the Free plan, but some options, like Shared Templates, are available only on the Mixmax Small Business plan and above. Check out our pricing page for more information.
Saving your current email as a Template in Gmail
In Gmail, you can write a message in the compose window and save the message as a template. Click Templates in the top bar of the compose window, and click Save this message as a template at the bottom of the menu.
When you click the Save this message as a template button, your current email will be opened in a new Template compose window. New Templates require a unique name and must be assigned to a folder.
When you're happy with the content of your Template, click the Save button at the bottom of the Template compose window.
Creating a new Template in the Mixmax web app
Gmail and Outlook users can create a new Template from the Templates page of the Mixmax web app. To do so, go to the Templates page of your web app and click New Template at the top of the page.
A new Template compose window will appear where you can create your Template. New Templates require a unique name and must be assigned to a folder.
For Outlook-based users, Mixmax Email Enhancements in Templates are currently not supported. To learn more about the Mixmax integration with Outlook, check out How to use Outlook with Mixmax.
When you're happy with the content of your Template, click the Save button at the bottom of the Template compose window.
