LinkedIn Integration Overview
Mixmax’s LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration enables easier prospecting, icebreaking, and engagement for salespeople and customer success teams. You can now send LinkedIn InMail and connection requests directly from Gmail; including the ability to schedule social follow-up tasks based on engagement or time using Mixmax Sequences.

Connecting to LinkedIn
To connect LinkedIn Sales Navigator to Mixmax, simply click on the LinkedIn “in” icon from the Mixmax sidebar in Gmail, and sign in with your Sales Navigator Team or Enterprise account.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator Insights from the Mixmax Sidebar
LinkedIn Sales Navigator insights are located on the People tab of the Mixmax sidebar. Here you can view your recipient's profile information, send a connection request, or send a personalized InMail message.
Send InMail from the sidebar
With Mixmax and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you can send InMail messages directly from Gmail using the Mixmax LinkedIn Sales Navigator sidebar.
Just click the " in" button to open an InMail compose window. From here you can add a subject and body to your InMail message, including adding a signature. When you're done composing just click the send button.
Send a connection request
To send a connection request from the sidebar, hover your mouse over the "..." menu drawer, and select Connect.
You will then be given the option to edit the text of the connection request and send the invite.
Schedule InMail or connection request tasks to follow-up based on engagement or time as steps within a Sequence. Using Mixmax Tasks within a sequence requires the Mixmax Enterprise plan. After enabling the LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration the following options will be added as stage actions:
LinkedIn Sales Navigator: Connection Request
When this stage is triggered within your sequence, a new Mixmax Task will be created for you to send a connection request to the recipient.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator: InMail
When this stage is triggered by your sequence a new Mixmax Task will be created for you to send a InMail to your desired recipient.

With Mixmax's LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration, you can create a Rule to automatically create an InMail task, or a Connection Request task. Using Rules to create Tasks requires the Mixmax Enterprise plan.
To set up a LinkedIn Sales Navigator rule, go to the Rules section of the Mixmax dashboard. Click the New Rule button to create new rule. In the example below we will be setting up a rule to send a LinkedIn Sales Navigator connection request when an email is opened 3 times.
Choose a trigger: Click an action under Mixmax such as Email, Sequence, or Meeting or select 3rd party service, such as DocuSign, or Salesforce. For our example, we're selecting Email as our trigger. Choose a sub-trigger. In this example, we'll use When my email is opened.
Choose a filter (optional): You can filter for specific sequences, attachments read, recipients replied, etc. In this example, we'll create a LinkedIn Sales Navigator connection request when Number of times opened is equal to 3.
Choose an action: Select LinkedIn Sales Navigator - Connection request. When this rule triggers a new task will be created in Mixmax Tasks to send a connection request.

Completing LinkedIn Sales Navigator Tasks
When a scheduled LinkedIn Sales Navigator Rule or Sequence stage is triggered, an automated task will be created, and added to your Mixmax Tasks dashboard. Mixmax Tasks are available on the Mixmax Enterprise plan. From the Mixmax task you can send your LinkedIn Sales Navigator Connection request, or send InMail.
If you added an optional message to your Sequence stage or Rule, you can click the Insert button to automatically copy the message to your LinkedIn Sales Navigator InMail or Connection request before sending.
