Basic Rules are available on the Mixmax Growth plan and above. Check out our pricing page for more information.
To make sure your prospects are properly informed and save time on routine tasks, you can use Mixmax Rules to build workflow automation that will add people to a new Sequence as soon as they receive all stages of a previous Sequence.
Creating your Rule
Next, enter a title for your rule.
Each Mixmax Rule has 3 steps: Trigger, Filter, and Action.
Trigger
For the Rule trigger, first, select Sequence.
Next, select All sequence stages are sent to a recipient and click Continue.
Filter
Next, you can specify the conditions when the Rule should be triggered. For example, you can select one or several specific sequences to which you want this automation to apply.
First, click Add Condition.
Next to Recipient email, click the dropdown to select Sequence is from the menu.
Next, select the required sequence from the drop-down list. To look for the sequence you need, simply start typing in the Search sequences field.
Click Add condition again to add more than one sequence if required.
If you wish to select multiple sequences or other filters, each of which should trigger this automation, change the filter logic to If ANY of the following are true.
Click Continue when you are done adding filters.
Action
For your action, select Sequence from the options.
In the next window, select Add them to a sequence and click Continue.
Next, search and select the sequence to which you wish recipients to be added and configure the sending parameters:
If there should be a delay between recipients completing the previous sequence and the new sequence starting, you can specify a period of time in minutes, hours, or days under Delay sending. The first stage of the new sequence will be sent with the selected delay.
You can also only allow stages to be sent within a certain period of time. Under Configure send time, switch the toggle to On, then select the start and end times and the time zone you want to use for the sending.
After setting up the parameters, click Activate & Close. Your Rule is good to go!
