Why did I receive a reply, but not an open notification, for a recipient in the European Union (EU)?

To help you comply with the European Union’s GDPR privacy law, Mixmax has a tracking setting to disable tracking for recipients in the EU. If a recipient in the EU replies to your email, it is safe to assume that they also opened your email. However, the email was not sent with tracking, so an open will not be shown in your Live Feed.

If you have the “Disable tracking for EU recipients” setting turned on, you will not see opens or clicks from people in the EU.
