The Mixmax MCP server is in beta, available through Mixmax Labs at no extra cost. As it matures, some capabilities may move into specific Mixmax plans.
The Mixmax MCP server connects your AI tool to your Mixmax account. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT talk to the other tools you already use, like Mixmax.
Once connected, your AI can answer questions with your real Mixmax data instead of guessing. You can then send prompts like "How is my outreach sequence performing?" "Please summarize my meetings from this week," or "Is this prospect already in one of my sequences?" without needing to switch between tabs.
Before you start
Turn on the MCP server experiment in Mixmax Labs: open Settings & feedback in the sidebar's Mixmax Labs section and toggle the experiment on. Enabling it adds MCP settings to your sidebar, where per-capability permissions live. For how Labs works, see the Mixmax Labs overview.
Connect your AI tool
Setup takes a few minutes, and it's specific to which tool you're using:

What controls what your AI can do
Two layers of control stack on top of each other:
Mixmax Labs opt-in. The MCP server is a Labs experiment. Your workspace admin controls whether it's available to your workspace and how.
Per-capability levers. Once you're in, MCP settings govern what your AI can actually do for each user. Reads are on by default; every write capability — sending email, editing sequences, managing tasks and reminders — is opt-in.
See Manage your MCP settings for the full breakdown, and Mixmax Labs overview for how admins control experiments.
Try it
Once connected, start with a question you already know the answer to, like "What meetings do I have this week?" When you recognize the answer, you're connected. The first time you ask a question about meetings or sequences, you may need to nudge your AI tool to ask Mixmax specifically for the answer.
For a fuller tour of what you can ask and do, see Mixmax MCP capabilities and use cases.
Sharing feedback
This is a beta, and feedback steers what ships next. Use the Share feedback button on the experiment card in Mixmax Labs.
