Automatically remove people from Sequences when they book a meeting

This is a real-life use case of Mixmax Rules workflow automation that might be especially useful for Customer Success teams.

You can use Mixmax Rules to build an automation that will remove someone from sequences when they book a meeting with Mixmax.

Creating your Rule

  • For individuals, head over to the Rules section on your account and click on New Rule.

  • If you're an admin and you would like to build this workflow for your entire team, head over to the Rules tab in the Admin section and click on New Rule.

Next, give your rule a title.

Each Mixmax Rule has 3 steps: Trigger, Filter, and Action.

Trigger

For the trigger, select Meeting.

Then, select My meeting is confirmed and click Continue.

Filter

For your filter, click Add condition.

Next to Guest (email), click the dropdown to select Calendar from the menu. This will allow you to target a specific meeting link by selecting the corresponding Calendar(s).

You can add as many conditions as you'd like to set other filter criteria. Click Continue when you're done.

For your action, select Sequence from the options.

In the next window, select Remove them from a sequence and click Continue.

Next, select select whether to remove them from all sequences or just a specific one.

Click on Activate & Close when you're done.

To update a Contact record from the same rule, click Add action, then follow the same steps as above after clicking Update the related Contact.
