Mixmax’s Meeting Copilot handles the heavy lifting of online meetings — taking notes, summarizing key points, outlining action items, and drafting follow-up emails—so you can focus on the conversation, not the keyboard.
Enable the Meeting Copilot
The Meeting Copilot can be added to any paid plan. You will see the settings related to the Meeting Copilot only if you have this add-on.
Languages Supported: English only.
You can enable the Meeting Copilot for Google Meet by navigating to Settings > Meeting Copilot.
From there, you can toggle the Meeting Copilot switch for Google Meet. Once the Meeting Copilot is enabled in the settings, it joins your calls as an attendee and transcribes your Google Meet meetings.
Settings
You can control which meetings Meeting Copilot should join by adjusting your settings. Choose to include only external meetings, meetings where you're the host, or other types of meetings — it's fully customizable to fit your workflow.
Calendar synchronization with Meeting Copilot can be delayed by up to 15 minutes. Therefore, if a meeting with a Google Meet link is created or updated within the 15 minutes leading up to the call, the Copilot may not be able to join that meeting.
Email Summary & Follow-up
After a transcribed meeting concludes, you will receive an email summary from [email protected] containing the meeting details.
Only you and other Mixmax users on the call with Meeting Copilot enabled will receive the meeting summary.
To receive a meeting summary, at least two attendees must be present, and the meeting must last a minimum of 2 minutes. If there is no conversation transcribed for 10 minutes, the Copilot will automatically exit the Google Meet meeting.
The Meet Copilot will join and transcribe the meeting as long as it is enabled. If the Copilot is removed during the call, you will still receive a summary for the portion of the meeting when it was present. However, once a user has removed the Copilot from the Google Meet meeting, there is no option to add it back.
The email summary notification will include:
A summary of the meeting
Participants
Key points of interest and pain points
Next steps and action items
There will also be an option to "Generate follow-up email" within the email.
Clicking "Generate follow-up email" will automatically open a pre-drafted email in Gmail's compose window, which you can then send to your meeting participants.
From that email, you can also access a dedicated page with the full transcript.
How to disable the Meeting Copilot
You can disable the Meeting Copilot by navigating to Settings > Meeting Copilot.
You can then toggle the setting OFF. When doing so, you will be asked to confirm the disablement. Select "Turn off".
After doing so, the Meeting Copilot will be disabled.
