Troubleshooting missing Meeting Copilot video recaps

Common reasons a Meeting Copilot video recap might be missing and how to fix them.

If your meeting's video recap is missing or not appearing, check these common causes:

Processing delay

Video recaps may take up to 30 minutes to process after the meeting ends. Check back shortly.

Recording not enabled

The meeting host must have cloud recording enabled for Mixmax to capture the video.

  • Zoom: Ensure "Cloud recording" is turned on in your Zoom account settings (Settings > Recording). For more details, see Meeting Copilot for Zoom.

  • Google Meet: Ensure your Google Workspace edition supports recording and it's enabled by your admin. For more details, see Meeting Copilot for Google Meet.

Meeting Copilot was not active

If Meeting Copilot wasn't enabled before the meeting started, the video won't be captured. Make sure Meeting Copilot is turned on in your settings before your next meeting.

Meeting was too short

Very brief meetings (under 1–2 minutes) may not generate a recap.


If none of these apply, contact support with the meeting date, time, and attendees so we can investigate.
