Add Meeting Copilot to a meeting manually

Two ways to bring Meeting Copilot into a call that isn't already on your calendar: the in-call prompt for unscheduled Zoom and Google Meet calls, and the Meetings page.

If a meeting isn't already on your calendar, or Meeting Copilot didn't join automatically, you can still bring it into the call manually.

From an unscheduled Zoom or Google Meet call

Have a last minute meeting pop up on your calendar? No problem! Mixmax will detect when you join an unscheduled Zoom or Google Meet call and provide the following pop-up:

Click "Add" to invite the Copilot to your meeting. You'll still have to accept the Copilot into the meeting once it joins, just like you do on your scheduled calls.

Note: The Copilot will join automatically if a meeting is scheduled more than 10 minutes in advance. (If you set it to automatically join your Meetings. See Google Meet or Zoom settings to learn more.

If a meeting is scheduled or added to your calendar less than 10 minutes in the future, you'll need to manually add the Copilot using the pop-up, or the method below.

From the Meetings page

You can also add Copilot to a meeting by entering its link directly on the Meetings page.

  1. Go to Meetings in the left navigation.

  2. Click Add Copilot to a meeting in the top left.

3. Paste the Zoom or Google Meet link into the Paste meeting link here field.

4. Click Add.

Copilot will join the call at the link you provided the same way it joins scheduled meetings. You will still have to Accept the copilot into your meeting once it joins.
