Enable/disable Meeting Copilot at the workspace level

Learn how to enable or disable Meeting Copilot for your entire workspace, and manage related transcript settings, as a Workspace Admin.

Workspace Admins can control whether Meeting Copilot is available to everyone in the workspace, along with two related transcript access settings.

Enabling Meeting Copilot for the workspace

To enable Meeting Copilot for the whole workspace, go to the Meeting Copilot section of the Admin center and switch Allow workspace members to take notes with Meeting Copilot to On.

With this enabled, individual workspace members can enable Meeting Copilot from their Settings > Personal > Meeting Copilot page and use it during their Zoom and Google Meet calls. See Meeting Copilot for Zoom and Meeting Copilot for Google Meet.

Disabling Meeting Copilot for the workspace

To disable Meeting Copilot for everyone in the workspace, a Workspace Admin should go to the Meeting Copilot section of the Admin center and switch Allow workspace members to take notes with Meeting Copilot to Off.

Note: This change takes effect immediately - there's no confirmation prompt. Once it's off, workspace members can no longer enable Meeting Copilot in their personal settings, and it won't join any of their meetings.

To turn Meeting Copilot back on for the workspace, switch the same toggle back to On.

Related transcript settings

Two more toggles live on the same page:

  • Allow workspace-wide transcript access via API - when on, any Workspace Admin can access transcripts from other members' meetings using the Mixmax API.

  • Sync meeting transcripts to CRM - when on, meeting transcripts sync automatically to your connected CRM as notes alongside meeting summaries.

These are independent of the main Meeting Copilot toggle, so turn them off separately if you only want to change transcript access or CRM syncing.
