For Outlook-based users, Mixmax Email Enhancements are currently supported only in the web app (for Sequences and Rules). To learn more about the Mixmax integration with Outlook, check out How to use Outlook with Mixmax.
Call to Action (CTA) buttons are a great way to connect your recipients to your website, social media profiles, or even your Mixmax Public calendar with one simple click.
To create a Call to Action button, hover your mouse over the Enhance menu and select Call to Action, or use the /button
slash command to open the Call to Action menu quickly.
Select a premade button in the panel on the left or create a custom button using the options on the right panel. When you're ready to add your button, click Insert Button.
Creating Custom Buttons
When creating a custom button, enter the text you want displayed on the button in the Button Text field.
The Button URL field specifies the URL to which you want the button to link.
To customize the colors of your Call to Action button, enter a hex color in the Text Color and Background Color fields or click the color wheel to select a preset color. On the Growth plan and above, the default button color will match your custom branding, so you don't have to worry about changing the colors with each new button.
You will see a preview of your button at the top of the Call to Action creation window. The example below shows how to create a button linking to your Mixmax Public Calendar.
Creating Multiple Buttons
When you create a Call to Action button, the button will be added to a new line in your message. To create multiple buttons on the same line, click the Add Button button to create a new button. When you are ready to add your Call to Action buttons, click Insert Button.
