When the Mixmax Dialpad integration is enabled, calls in Mixmax will be placed using Dialpad. See Connect to Dialpad for more information on setting up Dialpad in Mixmax.
Before making a call, please make sure the Dialpad application is installed and running on your computer. If you haven't installed Dialpad yet, download the Dialpad application.
Calls from the Mixmax dashboard
To make a call from the Mixmax dashboard, click the telephone button at the top of the navigation panel on the left.
A new call window will appear on the screen where a call can be placed. Dialpad users will notice the From field is filled in with Your Dialpad Number and the Call using Dialpad button at the bottom.
To place a call, enter a phone number in the To field and click the Call using Dialpad button. When the call is initiated, Dialpad will appear at the top corner of the screen.
Calls From Gmail
From Gmail, you can place a call from the Mixmax sidebar. If you're looking at a contact in the sidebar, and their phone number is in your CRM, click the telephone button.
If you're not looking at a particular contact in the sidebar, you can still place a call. Hover over the plus sign in the top right corner, then choose Phone call from the menu:
