Not sure where to start? Mixmax builds your sequence with AI. Describe what you want in a sentence, and it generates a complete multi-stage sequence you can edit and send. Since AI is the default, the builder opens automatically when you create a new sequence (see How to create a new Sequence for the entry points).
Describe your sequence
On the "What kind of sequence do you want to create?" screen, type a short description of your outreach: what you're selling, who it's for, and your goal. For example: "Cold outreach to RevOps leaders introducing our onboarding automation, book a demo."
Pain points and Value prop are included automatically
Two chips sit below the input, Pain points and Value prop, so the generated sequence reflects your company's positioning without you retyping it each time.
Mixmax fills these in automatically from your company domain when your workspace is created. If you signed up with a personal email address rather than a company domain, they may start empty.
An admin can review or update them anytime in the 'Workspace settings' at the 'Admin center', under Customer Pain Points (the Pain points chip) and Company Values (the Value prop chip).
Remove a chip with the ×, or edit it inline, to change what this one sequence draws from. Inline changes apply only to the current sequence. To update them everywhere, edit them in Workspace Settings.
Generate and review
Click Create. Mixmax builds a full sequence with subject lines, body copy, and follow-up timing across multiple stages. Review and edit any stage, adjust the timing, then add recipients and send.
