As a workspace admin, here's how you can cancel Mixmax plans per account:
Go to the 'Team members' page in the Mixmax dashboard.
Click the 'Trash can' icon next to the account name.
Click 'Confirm cancellation' in the confirmation pop-up.
If, instead, you want to cancel all subscriptions in the workspace, follow the steps below:
Go to the 'Admin center' page and click 'Billing'.
Click 'Cancel all subscriptions'.
Select 'Yes' in the confirmation pop-up.
As a workspace admin, only another admin can cancel your plan if there are other members in the workspace. If you're the only remaining admin and user in your workspace, you can click the 'Cancel all subscriptions' button on the billing page to cancel your plan.
A workspace with existing members will always need at least one admin.
What happens when a subscription is canceled
When you cancel a subscription, we cancel the auto-renewal. The subscription will remain active until the end of the billing cycle. At that point, the account will be placed on our free plan.
If the account was on a monthly billing cycle, the subscription will remain active until the end of the paid month.
If the account was on an annual billing plan, the subscription will remain active until the end of the yearly cycle.
Because the account will automatically be placed on the Free plan after cancellation, the Mixmax extension will remain active in the user's Gmail account. Once the subscription is canceled, the user can follow the steps here to close the account.
Annual plan cancellations
We do not offer partial refunds on annual plans, which is how we can provide a steep discount compared to monthly plans. However, we're happy to transfer the remaining subscription to another account. Refunds for annual plans may be granted for billing errors, duplicate charges, or other system-related issues. Each request will be reviewed individually for eligibility in accordance with Mixmax's subscription terms.
Please contact our support team to request a transfer of the remaining plan duration.
Free trial cancellations
If you want to cancel an account on a trial plan, you don't need to cancel, since the account doesn't currently have a Mixmax subscription. The account will automatically switch to the free plan at the end of the trial.
If you were charged after canceling
Once you cancel a subscription, we will process the billing changes within a few business days.
If you canceled an account a few days before the billing due date and were still charged for the subscription, our billing system likely hadn't completed your cancellation before the charge was processed. You can submit a refund request by contacting our support team and providing relevant details, such as the transaction date and a description of the issue. Eligibility for a refund will be determined based on the subscription terms.
Simply contact our support team, and we'll handle your refund!
What scenarios are eligible for a refund
You can review our Terms of Service to understand our refund policies.
Refund requests are usually processed within a standard timeframe, though the duration may vary depending on the case's complexity. Common scenarios that qualify for refund requests include duplicate charges, billing errors, and issues that arise during subscription downgrades. After reviewing eligibility, refunds are processed promptly and may be either partial or full, depending on the specifics of each case.
